Compare and contrast acids and bases

Acids
- Form Hydrogen ions when dissolved in water
- Have PH values below 7
- Increased hydrogen ions (H+)
- Lituns turns red
- Ex. Vinegar and Lemon

Bases
- Reduce the concentration of hydrogen ions in a solution
- PH values above 7
- Forms hydrogen (OH-)
- Litnus turns blue
- Ex. Antiacid, Hand Soap, and Ammonia

Both
- Hydrogen ions
- Not Neutral
- Water Based
